eDESIGN, ROOM PACKAGES & DIY AGREEMENT
I UNDERSTAND THAT THE DESIGN FEE FOR E-DESIGN IS NON-REFUNDABLE. I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL FURNISH THE INFORMATION REQUESTED BY EURDESIGN STUDIO IN ORDER FOR THEM TO CREATE MY E-DESIGN, ROOM PACKAGE, OR DIY DESIGN. I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS ACCURATE TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND THE E-DESIGN SOLELY RELIES ON THIS INFORMATION. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE COMPLETED DESIGN WILL BE DELIVERED TO ME EITHER THROUGH EMAIL OR A PRIVATE PAGE ON THE EURDESIGN STUDIO WEBSITE. THERE IS NO FACE TO FACE MEETING, AND THE DESIGN WILL BE IMPLEMENTED BY ME.
eDESIGN, DIY TERMS & CONDITIONS
This service is for online design consulting or local plan only designs, also known as eDesign, Room Packages, Virtual Design, and Mail Order Decorator. The names previously listed may be used interchangeably throughout this agreement. It is best suited for individuals who want to be actively involved in the management of their project. Some knowledge of how to use a measuring tape, take photos and computer skills are necessary. You do not have to be tech savvy, as step by step directions will be given in most cases.
EURDESIGN STUDIO is not responsible for the execution of design concepts provided. Online design consulting is a service intended to kick start your project and may or may not meet all your needs for a particular project. You understand that we are providing you with a design plan that you will execute and implement by doing all the purchasing and coordinating with the vendors that we specified in the shopping list. Once we deliver the plans to you, we have fully satisfied the agreement and we are released from further obligations.
EURDESIGN STUDIO will supply instructions for the taking of measurements for the space to be designed, but the client is responsible for providing accurate dimensions. If you live in our local service area, we can do the measurements only for you at an additional cost of $197 per trip. EURDESIGN STUDIO will supply a questionnaire to get to understand your design style and expectations for the finished design. If you are local to the NORTHERN ATLANTA area, you may request an in-home consultation at a separate fee of $447 for up to 2 hours to see the space first hand. We will take measurements at that time as well.
EURDESIGN STUDIO will not be responsible for the means, methods, or procedures of construction, fabrication, delivery, & installation, or safety precautions in connection with its Online Services, for the acts or omissions of the contractor or any, subcontractor, supplier, or other person performing the work of Online Service; or, for any failure of them to meet any schedules or completion dates. When appropriate, EURDESIGN STUDIO will provide links for suggested products for your project that may connect you to a third-party vendor. We assume no responsibility or liability for your purchasing experience with third party vendors and recommend you review their policies before committing to any purchase. In some cases where appropriate and/or possible, products will be specified by manufacturer and item number giving the client the option to shop the product on their own for best pricing or for reference if they prefer to use local vendors. We may also provide you with affiliate links for purchasing products, in which case we make a small percentage commission. We may also recommend products through our online store at EurDesignStudio.com. Client preferences will be determined through the initial questionnaire upon receipt of payment. In all situations, EURDESIGN STUDIO will endeavor to specify products and sources that are in the best interest of the client and their project.
We strongly recommend that you request samples for fabrics and other finishes as much as possible to verify color and wearability before purchasing. Computer monitors will display colors differently and dye-lots can be different, and will affect the look of the actual product. We are not responsible for such variations. In cases where we specify paint colors, you acknowledge that, due to varied conditions of lighting, wall finishes and other factors, colors may not be a true representation of how they appear on the swatches. These color swatches are supplied by paint companies to provide a visual guideline for each color, and may not represent an exact match of color and finish. EURDESIGN STUDIO cannot be held responsible for such variations. We strongly recommend purchasing samples and testing all samples on several walls, in several lighting conditions to make sure you like the colors we specified. Do not have the paint colors mixed by another paint company other than the one specified. The colors will not match.
In cases where we recommend window coverings, such as draperies and shades, you acknowledge and understand that we are making suggestions for window treatments that we feel will work best for your particular needs. We strongly recommend that you work closely with the vendor that we recommend by requesting a professional measure and fabric samples before making the purchase. Custom window treatments is a very detailed and involved item and care should be taken when making the purchase. We are not responsible for any errors and omissions when ordering custom window treatments through other vendors, including ones we recommend.
All drawings provided by EURDESIGN STUDIO are to be considered conceptual to convey the finished design and are not intended for construction purposes. Any drawings provided will be sufficient to present to a contractor or workroom to convey the overall design desired and to receive estimates if desired. All measurements are to be verified on site by any contractor or supplier before any final bids for materials or labor are submitted.
EURDESIGN STUDIO provides one revision of your project provided that they are requested within 14 days of delivering your final design. All items specified are available through local or online retailers. We have no control over their stock and inventory or fluctuations in pricing. Therefore, items may be on back-order, discontinued, or increased in price by the time you order. You are responsible for finding suitable replacements. Any further requests or changes beyond the 14-day allowance will incur an additional charge at an hourly rate of $197.00.
Revisions are defined as follows: Up to three changes may be requested per plan* for color, style, scale of items, per the package purchased. A full redesign is not considered a revision, and additional fees may be incurred
EURDESIGN STUDIO offers complimentary email support for any questions you have concerning your virtual design package for 14 days following full acceptance of the proposed design.
EURDESIGN STUDIO will not commence on behalf of the client until payment is received in full and all questionnaires and information required are submitted. The questionnaire does not apply to room package purchases There are no refunds issued on Online Services. Our eDesign service is also available to Local clients who wish to also have more on site face-to-face assistance. There is an additional charge of $447 for onsite visits in Northern Atlanta and surrounding areas
EURDESIGN STUDIO reserves the right to use any project drawings and/or photos for promotion of design services on social media or our website with the explicit guarantee that client privacy will be protected.
ROOM PACKAGES TERMS & CONDITIONS
In the case of full room package purchases, we will order all the furnishings listed in the package, which will be drop-shipped to your residence. You are responsible for unboxing, inspecting, assembling and placing each piece in the proper locations in your home. Most shipping companies will only provide curbside delivery.
You are aware that we are not responsible for their shipping policies and practices. You acknowledge that if an item listed in the package is no longer available, we reserve the right to find a suitable item as substitution. We will notify you in the event that this happens. You also understand that you may receive several deliveries on several different days. We are not responsible for coordinating schedules between you and the delivery companies. The delivery companies at their discretion, may leave items at the front door if no one is home. We are not responsible for any items that may be lost or stolen. We will provide you with the contact information for the shipping company to deal directly with them for matters like this.
We are able to keep the cost for room packages down because we are only acting as the professional purchaser to get you the best pricing possible from our vendors. We assume no responsibility from the time we place your orders to when they arrive at your home. As a courtesy, we will provide you with shipping updates and/or tracking numbers as they become available to us.
